As part of the aluCine Latin Film+Media Arts Festival, the public is invited to the opening night of Ven Acá created by Alexandra Gelis and Jorge Lozano.
WHAT IS?: Ven Acá, based on public interventions, uses personal testimonies, moving images, and performance to rethink and reflect on local conflicts caused by the Venezuelan exodus of women and their first stop in Colombia walking towards Peru and Chile. This work questions the dynamics of abuse and discrimination against Venezuelan women, creating a space to discuss and navigate these ideas.
